Visitors praise the cleanliness, organization, and comfort, as well as the hosts’ attentiveness, describing them as helpful and kind. Families report being comfortably accommodated and say they would like to return. The scenery, quiet, and sense of privacy are also recurring highlights, along with the opportunity to spend a few days away from the pace of city life.

However, there are points worth noting. One guest felt the blankets and comforters could be better because of concerns about dust mites, a relevant consideration for people with allergies or sensitivity to bedding. Another review describes a serious accident caused by a mare kicking a guest at Christmas in 2023 and states that there was no follow-up contact or assistance afterward. This is an individual account, but it describes a serious incident: before visiting, especially if planning to interact with the animals, it is advisable to clarify the safety measures, rules for moving around the property, and procedures for assistance in the event of an accident.

Practical tips before your stay

As business hours are not provided, arrival arrangements should be made in advance. It is also wise to check the condition of the dirt road, the best route for your vehicle, and directions for finding the property. The rural location is part of the appeal, but it may require more planning than accommodation in a central area.

For weekends, holidays, or family trips, checking availability in advance can make it easier to choose dates and confirm the house’s capacity. Before finalizing your stay, it is worth checking what is included, which kitchenware and bedding are provided, whether firewood for the fireplace and fire pit is available, and what the rules are for using these areas. Guests with allergies can ask about blankets, comforters, and cleaning procedures.

The property seems well suited to couples, families, and visitors looking for peace and quiet, scenery, and a relaxing base from which to explore Cunha and the surrounding area. Groups with children, people with limited mobility, or guests planning to interact with the animals should confirm access and safety conditions in advance.
